Why You Should Pay to Join the Navigating Your Child's Emotions Subscriber's Circle?
Learn how to Manage your Child's Emotions with Community and Connection
If you're reading this, you probably know how beautiful and brutally hard raising a young child can be. You're not alone—and you're not doing it wrong.
I write this newsletter as a fellow parent in the thick of it: the early mornings, the meltdowns, the tiny wins, the endless questions and unpredictable mood swings. I also write this as a trained registered play therapist who sees the struggles many of you go through and provide guidance on how to get through it.
In this publication, I will share thoughtful, honest reflections and real-life strategies to help you feel more grounded, supported, and empowered as you raise your child.

If you are wondering, who am I?
I am a Latina therapist, born and raised in Brooklyn/Queens, NY, with 18 years of experience working with individuals and families and 15 years as a private practice owner.
I moved to New Jersey nearly 15 years ago, and my office is located in New Providence, NJ. My desire and passion is to help children, parents and adults become a more confident version of themselves and develop better relationships within their family.

I am also passionate about educating parents and mental health professionals. As a result, I host various workshops that aim to do just that. To learn about upcoming workshops, click here.
A Few Important Things to Note before You Subscribe:
⚖️ Ethics, Boundaries, and Confidentiality
For subscribers and readers of this publication
As a licensed clinical social worker, I take ethics and your trust seriously. While this newsletter aims to offer helpful insights, education, and support, it is not therapy.
Here's what you need to know:
1. This Is Not a Substitute for Therapy
While I am an LCSW, I am not acting as your therapist in this space.
Subscribing to or reading this newsletter does not establish a therapeutic relationship.
I do not provide diagnosis, treatment, or clinical recommendations to individuals through this platform.
Any guidance or information offered here is for educational and general informational purposes only.
2. Confidentiality Has Limits in This Setting
Substack is a public or semi-public platform, so confidentiality cannot be guaranteed.
If you share something via comment, email, or Q&A, it is not protected by HIPAA or clinical confidentiality laws. Please refrain from providing sensitive information.
I will never disclose identifying information in published content without your explicit written permission.
Any subscriber-submitted stories or questions used in posts will be anonymized or generalized.
3. 📬 Handling Reader Questions & Submissions
Paid subscribers may be invited to send in parenting questions or reflections. Here’s how I handle that:
I may respond to reader questions in a post or newsletter issue, with identifying details changed or removed.
I do not offer personalized therapeutic responses or private clinical feedback.
If a situation requires professional help, I will always recommend you speak with a local licensed clinician.
4. Ethical Boundaries I Follow as a Therapist
As a licensed clinical social worker, I am bound by the NASW Code of Ethics. That means:
I do not provide clinical services through Substack or other informal channels.
I will not enter into dual relationships (e.g., therapist + reader) with newsletter subscribers.
I do not provide emergency support or crisis intervention.
If you're in crisis or need urgent help, please contact a licensed mental health provider in your area or call 988 (U.S. mental health crisis line).
5. When to Seek Therapy
If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or in need of personalized help, I strongly encourage you to work with a licensed therapist in your state or country. Therapy is powerful, confidential, and tailored to you—and you deserve that care.
